About Jo Briggs
Born and raised in South Africa, Jo moved to the United States in her 20s to pursue her legal career. After many years working tirelessly as a corporate lawyer, Jo wanted to find a creative outlet and started dabbling in photography.
Soon her hobby became a full-time job. Jo opened a photography studio and was a widely sought-after portrait photographer. She also spent time capturing the incredible beauty in nature and creating fine art prints for clients. Throughout she was particularly fascinated by the interplay of water, light and movement.
In early 2021 Jo developed the idea for The Flow and has been surrounded by water and flowers ever since! Jo lives in New Canaan, Connecticut with her two wonderful children.
